Galesburg Middle School will be hosting an activities awards night on Friday, May 8th. The activities awards night will take place in the north gym at Galesburg, and will begin at 6:00 PM. This activities awards night will recognize the achievements of our students who participated in Chess, Quiz Bowl, Fall and Winter Cheer, Volleyball, Track and Field, Girls and Boys Basketball, Girls and Boys Wrestling and Football.
All GMS students will be attending Barnyard Day tomorrow, Thursday, April 30th at the Neosho County Fairgrounds. High school students will lead the kids through a number of different exhibits. The event starts at 8:05 AM and will conclude at 9:20 AM. Students should return to GMS at approximately 9:45.
-Students who need a ride from Galesburg will need to board the route bus at Galesburg Christian Church at 6:50 AM.
-5th and 6th grade students will be shuttled to the fairgrounds from Erie Elementary first thing in the morning.
- 7th and 8th grade students will report to Erie High School as they normally do, and then be shuttled to the fairgrounds.

Due to transportation needs, students attending the WindSurge trip tomorrow will be leaving Wichita at 1:45 PM to return back to Erie Elementary by 3:50 PM to board route buses. Students that live in Galesburg will need to ride the route bus back to GMS. As a reminder, clear bags will be allowed, but not cell phones.
