GMS Football, Volleyball and Cheer will practice at Galesburg today, August 18th. A shuttle will be provided to return students to Erie Elementary School after practice. Practices should conclude around 5:30 PM and the bus should arrive at EES around 5:45 PM.
This morning EHS went into a medical lockdown. USD 101 will do this at any point that we have to call an ambulance or someone is having a medical emergency. This morning EHS had an adult who needed assistance. The medical lockdown has now been ended. 7th and 8th grade departure from EHS has been delayed.
Correction - Instrument Supply Night: will be 5:00 - 6:30 PM at EHS on Tuesday, August 18th.
Reminder: Fall sports practices start tomorrow, Monday, August 17th. Football, volleyball, and cheer will practice at GMS tomorrow.
7th and 8th grade will not attend first period classes at Erie High School on Thursday, August 13th and will report directly to Galesburg Middle School. 7th and 8th grade students will attend first period classes at Erie High School starting Friday, August 14th.

7:50 AM - 5th Grade sports physicals begin
8:40 AM - 7th Grade sports physicals begin
9:30 AM - 6th Grade sports physicals begin
8th Grade students will complete their sports physicals during their freshman preview day at Erie High School

Monday, May 18th, Erie High School is hosting free sports physicals. All GMS students with a completed and signed physical form will travel to Erie High School for a free sports physical. 5th grade students will be transported directly to EHS the morning of May 18th. 5th grade physicals will start at 8:00 AM. 7th grade physicals will start at 8:40 AM. 6th grade physicals will begin at 9:30 AM.
8th grade students will remain at Erie High School for a full day high school orientation. 8th grade students will get their sports physicals throughout the day.
If you would like your student to have a free sports physical, completed and sign physical and concussion forms need to be turned in to the Galesburg Middle School office by Friday, May 15th. Your student received these forms at school.

Tomorrow, May 14th, Galesburg Middle School students are invited to attend the high school theatre production.
The play will begin at 8:30 AM in the Erie High School auditorium. All students will be transported directly to the high school.
When the play is done, students will be transported back to Galesburg Middle School to finish their school day.

May 12th, 5th - 12th Grade Band and Choir Rehearsal and Concert Schedule:
-7/8 will stay at EHS after first hour and return to GMS by 10:15, they will eat second breakfast
-5th will depart GMS at 12:30 and return by 2:00
-6th band and choir will depart GMS around 2 and stay at EHS all day, they will need to ride bus back to EES, etc.
6:30 PM Concert is 5th Band, 6th Band, Choir - Arrive by 6:15
7:30 PM Concert is 7/8 Band, HS Band - Arrive by 7:15
Please wear concert black attire
