
Baseball and softball games for Monday, 4/21/25, at Erie have been moved to Humboldt with a start time of 5:30. No sunflower seeds or metal cleats.

Due to the weather forecast for Friday, BASEBALL with Marmaton Valley (Moran) has been moved up to 1:00 start time. The bus will leave 11:15.

Erie had another great showing at the Tornado Relays at Eureka on Tuesday, April 15th. The boys' team won their third track meet in a row. There were nine schools in the boys' division and 10 in the girls' division. Erie Boys won the meet with 121 points. The girls finished 5th, and the girls' team was not at full strength. JV Softball has been cancelled tomorrow, Friday, April 11 @ Erie. Neodesha is not able to play. JV baseball WILL still play starting at 4:30 against Neodesha.

Erie JV boys placed third in their home golf tournament today, Monday, missing first place by just two strokes. There were 62 golfers from 12 schools competing. Individual honors went to Isaac Myers who placed fifth, Kyler Yackle placed ninth and Tanner Strathe was tenth overall.










Due to Uniontown's field conditions the JV games will not be played today, April 4th, 2025.

JV Golf at Sedan is still on for today, Thursday, April 3rd, 2025. Good luck to our golfers.

Baseball/Softball has been moved to Humboldt today, April 3, 2025. No metal cleats will be worn. Games will start at 4:30. Bus will leave at 2:45.

All spring coaches have agreed that Monday, March 24th would be a better date to have sport pictures. Track, Softball/Baseball and Golf will have them right after school. I know this is the first day back from spring break, but Tuesday softball/baseball and track begin their competition. Sorry for all the confusion.

We will have spring sports pictures on Friday, March 14. The athletes should have an order packet by tomorrow if they didn't get one today at practice. Reminder that we don't have school that day, but we will still take pictures starting at 3:00.


Reminder that tomorrow, March 6th, 10th grade students will be traveling to Greenbush to attend Real World Experience Day. The bus will depart at 8:10 and return at 3:00. Lunch will be provided.

One final congratulations to Devaj for his weekend with the 12A Honor Band at KMEA-ISW. He has spent seventeen hours in the past three days rehearsing with the group to put on a wonderful state level performance. Way to represent #Team101!




Exciting news from state wrestling at Hay! All 6 of our athletes made it to the second day, meaning each earned at least one win on Friday. Saturday brought tough competition, and while all four of our lady athletes lost their first match, our men earned spots on the podium. Aiden Wilson placed 5th and Seth Welch placed 4th. Great job to all our wrestlers!






All of Erie's wrestlers have qualified for the second day of competition at the 3-1A State Wrestling Championships in Hays. Seth Welch has already qualified for a podium finish while each of the other 5 wrestlers will need two victories on Saturday to reach the podium.
Congratulations on their performances so far and good luck moving forward.

Greenbush will be hosting a Real World Experience Day on Thursday, March 6th. The eighth and tenth grade classes have been invited to attend. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various career exploration events. These events include Career Chats, RealityU, Whose Job is it Anyway, Interviewing Tips & Tricks, Odyssey Career Planning, and Why Your Digital Footprint Matters to Your Career.
The school will be providing transportation to this event. The bus will be departing at 8:10 a.m. and will be returning around 3:00 p.m. 8th grade students will have the opportunity to eat breakfast at the high school before departure. Lunch will be provided at Greenbush.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on Feb. 25th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Feb. 27th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Due to the recent snow days, we will be having regular Parent-Teacher Conferences, instead of Student-Led Conferences. Parents are welcome to come at their convenience.

A good day of wrestling in Fredonia results in two of our boys qualifying for the State Wrestling Tournament in Hays next weekend. Aiden Wilson gathered his 100th career win on the way to his 3rd place finish in the 113 lb weight class. Seth Welch finished as the Regional Champion in the 150 lb class. Way to go Seth !!

Monday night, Feb. 24th, Erie will host Eureka in a makeup game that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18th. It will be varsity only. Varsity girls will start at 6:00 pm. We will recognize our senior athletes between games. Varsity boys will start around 7:30 pm
